Can you clean a fabric roof without damaging it?
Yes, that's the whole point of treating it as a specialist job. Fabric roofs need dedicated products and a gentle method; aggressive cleaning or pressure washing is what ruins them.
Will it stop the roof leaking?
The protective treatment helps the fabric repel water again, which is how a healthy roof is meant to behave. It isn't a repair, though. If the roof or its seals are damaged, that needs fixing separately.
How often should it be done?
Once a year suits most convertibles, ideally before winter. If the car lives under trees, expect algae to come back sooner.
